How did Braníček come to life?
Braníček was born from my dreams, experience, and love for children and their development.
I've been working with children for more than 15 years – as a teacher, nanny, and also as the founder of the babysitting agency Susie's Babysitting, which has been running successfully in Prague since 2014.
Over the years, I've met hundreds of children and families, and I began to see a pattern – many parents were looking for something different. A more peaceful and personal place for their child. Smaller groups. More individual attention. More respect for the child's unique personality and pace.
It also became clear how challenging traditional kindergartens can be – especially for sensitive children, or those who are gifted, curious, or neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, etc.). These children need more time, more creativity, and above all – more understanding.
What is Braníček?
Braníček is a small, safe and nurturing space for preschoolers and early school-age children.
A place full of imagination, books, music, languages, and thoughtful guidance.
A space where children are free to be themselves – and to learn naturally through play, curiosity, and discovery.
We are not a classic preschool or daycare.
Braníček is a children's club – a cosy learning and leisure space that feels like a second home.
We offer:
🧒 Morning educational program for children aged 2.5 to 5 years
🎨 Afternoon themed clubs for children aged 6 to 9 years
🤝 Small groups, individual approach, and joyful learning atmosphere
Why I created this space
Because I believe that every child deserves some time of trully individual care where he is heard and seen!
Because I know that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and accepted.
Because I wanted to build a space that connects education with playfulness and heart.
