Individual aproach to every child

My approach is based on the proven fact that young children respond best when caregivers use specific and individual techniques designed to encourage and stimulate progress to the next level of development.*

I know all children develop in their own pace and I respect that. When working with children I always adapt my planned activities and games to the abilities of each child, so all children can feel comfortable and valued in my care.

Empowering the child

I believe that children need to have a balance between guidance from adults and having enough opportunities to have their own choice in various situations. Empowering the child helps to build his healthy self esteem because we show him we respect him and trust him. With helping children to develop healthy confidence and belief in themselves, their independence growth also bigger.

Remember the old saying from Bible: "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."

Consisting and simple rules

Setting simple rules is important for children well being and they are the base for keeping good behaviour in children. I know too many rules can be confusing for children so our goal is to have only few but clear rules and enforce these with consistency. I always explain the children why each rule is important and what may happen if we don't follow it, so children actually think about it and don't just blindly follow some rules.

Respecting and Celebrating other cultures

At Susie's children of any nationality or religion are welcomed and I teach children not only to respect, but also celebrate any cultural differences. I teach children to value what is different about each of us and to be proud about it, while being considerate and respectful to others.
