The conditions of use of Susie's childcare room

Operating Rules for the Children's Room

These conditions outline the operating rules for the Children's Corner, a designated area within the premises covered by the main contract between Provider and Client. These rules are intended to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all children.

1. Eligibility:

  • The Children's Corner is intended for children aged 18 months - 14 years old.
  • Children must be registered with Provider prior to using the Children's Corner.
  • Provider will provide qualified staff (nannies) to supervise children within the Children's Corner.

2. Safety and Hygiene:

  • Children may bring their own food and drinks, which must be clearly labelled with the child's name. The provider will store these items in designated refrigerators.
  • The provider will ensure that all children maintain good hygiene practices, including regular handwashing.

3. Behaviour:

  • Children are expected to behave respectfully towards other children and nannies.
  • Aggressive or disruptive behaviour that significantly impacts other children or the overall environment may result in the child being temporarily removed from the Children's Corner. In severe cases, the Provider may suspend the child's use of the Children's Corner.
  • If a child is experiencing prolonged or inconsolable crying, Provider will contact the child's parents/guardians to collect them. This decision is made with the child's well-being in mind.

4. Supervision:

  • Provider is responsible for the care and supervision of children within the Children's Corner.
  • Nannies are trained and equipped to handle situations that may arise within the Children's Corner.

5. Communication:

Provider will maintain open communication with the Client regarding any concerns or issues related to the Children's Corner.
