Prague 2 - Vinohrady / from ASAP

2 or 3 half-days a week, 1 child (girl), ENGLISH or ROMANIAN speaking nanny

WORKING HOURS:

• 2 or 3 mornings or afternoons a week (3-4 hours each time)
• Time and days are flexible and open for discussion as per the candidate's availability 
• cca 8 - 12 hours a week

SALARY:

• Between 250 - 300 Kč per hour (as per experience)

WHAT THE FAMILY REQUIRE:

• Person with experience with 2 years olds
• SpeakIing English well (ideally worked with English-speaking children)
• Available for Long-term (1 year until she goes to kindergarten and afterward occasionally)
• It would be a bonus to be familiar with Montessori
• First Aid course
• In general, a kind person who is actively involved.

We have a cat so if the person is allergic to cats it would be difficult for her probably. 

The girl understands English, but she only speaks a few words in English (she is starting to talk more and more in English now).

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

• The family is Romanian but speaks also English to their daughter

Prague 4 - Kunratice, ASAP

3 days a week, 1 child (boy 4 y.o.), ENGLISH or CZECH speaking nanny

WORKING HOURS:

• Mon- Wed: 15:00 - 18:00
• cca 9 hours a week

SALARY:

• 250 - 300 Kč/h (depending on experience)

POSITION WILL INVOLVE:

• Picking up 4-year-old boy from nursery school and taking him home (closeby) and generally looking after him until parents come home
• Playing with him, outside or inside
• Prepare simple snack
• Mainly have fun together :)

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

• This is a Czech family but they lived a long time abroad and just recently moved to Czech, so the little boy speaks fluently both English and Czech.

Postřižín - north of Prague - ASAP

3 days a week, 1 child (girl), ENGLISH or CZECH-speaking nanny

WORKING HOURS:

• Mon - Wed: 9:00 - 15:00
• 18 hours a week

SALARY:

• 230 Kč/h 

POSITION WILL INVOLVE:

• Nanny will be looking after one 1-year-old girl 
• Ideally, the nanny should be proactive in creating a fun and stimulating play environment, such as Montessori-styled DIY home activities. Should be able to promote child's language development through appropriate activities (reading books, singing children's songs and rhymes, role plays, etc.).
• Anyone with preschool work experience would be very welcome. 
• Nanny should not mind dogs and should feel comfortable around one.
• The nanny should be able to prepare at least simple meals for the child's lunch.

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

• The family is bilingual, mum is Czech, and Dad is British
• The family lives in a small village close to the north of Prague - Postřižín, in a family house with a garden. There are two playgrounds within walking distance of the house.
• The family has one friendly dog 

Prague 14 - Černý Most / from ASAP

2 days a week, 1 child (boy), ENGLISH or CZECH speaking nanny 

Prague 2- Vinohrady, from ASAP

2 or 3 days a week/ or 5x half-day, CZECH speaking nanny only

WORKING HOURS:

This position can be shared by two nannies:

• cca 42,5 -45 hours a week (to be shared within two people)
• The family needs a nanny from 11:30 - 20:00 Mon- Fri  

But the work can be shared by two nannies: either each nanny having 2 / 3 full days.

OR splitting each day for early afternoon and later afternoon & evening shift, for example:

1. FIRST SHIFT: 12.00- 16:30 (caring just about the 6m old baby)
2. SECOND SHIFT: 15:30-20:00 (picking a 3 year older girl from nursery, taking her home and then taking over also the baby from the first nanny. From  18:00 the second nanny would have shared charge about the children with the parent)

SALARY:

• To be negotiated (270 - 300 Kč per hour)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• A Czech native speaker who also speak at least some communicative English
• A driver (bonus would be also if she has own car)
• Someone with hands-on experience with babies from 6 montsh up!

POSITION WILL INVOLVE:

• Nanny would look after 6 months old baby girl (very easy going baby) from 11:30 am and from 15:30 she would also pick up from nursery her 3 y.o. sister.

ABOUT THE FAMILY:

• Mum is Australian, works from home but has long working hours (works for USA company- US working hours)
• Dad is Czech and will be working outside of home.
• They live at Vinohrady but have also a weekend house at village Řitka, where the nanny should be also ok to come in the schools holidays when the family is planning to be there too.
• The family goes cca twice a year to visit relatives to Australia for few weeks. At this point the nanny could get (if the family really like her) a paid time-off and takes her holiday.
